Bio

Sheila Kirsch LMT, LE received her license in massage therapy in 2000, after graduating from the Omaha School of Massage Therapy. She continued her journey in massage for 7 years taking nationally accredited courses in hot stone massage, prenatal massage, myofascial release, reiki along with other courses and self-study education. After the birth of her first child, she started looking at modalities to prolong her massage career.

Introduced to Ashiatsu DeepFeet Bar Therapy (ADBT), Sheila traveled to Denver, CO in 2007, to train under Ruthie Hardee, founder of ADBT. This week-long training changed her career forever. To feel the muscles through her hands now learning to feel the muscles through her feet opened a whole new world of learning the body and how to help alleviate pain. In 2008, continuing to practice ADBT Sheila was introduced to Ashi-Thai. In 2009, she trained once more under Ruthie Hardee adding compression and stretching of Ashi-Thai to her practice.

Her journey of helping and educating others in body awareness and self-care did not stop with a massage. Attending school at Xenon International Academy for esthetics Sheila received her esthetician license in 2015. Adding a variety of skincare treatments to her practice and providing multiple professional skincare lines to assist in teaching the importance of a healthy skincare routine. May 2019, Sheila took JoElle Lee’s class on Treating Multicultural Skin. JoElle Lee is most noted for being the former personal esthetician to First Lady Michelle Obama. Sheila’s journey is to continue in the education of providing treatments for all colors of skin.

Sheila outside of her practice loves spending time with her kids. Staying along the journey of fitness she has embraced the world of weight lifting and strength training. Her interest in human diversity leads her and her practice on a new path of education and self-discovery.
